Dr. Chris D'CoutoChris heads all of Neah's operations, including engineering, marketing, and business development. He brings more than a decade in thin films processing and semiconductor technology expertise, proven track record in sales and marketing, and product introduction experience including serving as senior director of marketing at FormFactor Inc., where he headed the launch of full wafer probe cards for NAND flash and DRAM. Before FormFactor, Chris had a nine-year tenure at Novellus Systems, Inc., with positions of increasing responsibility ranging from productmanagement to technology development and sales. Some of his roles at Novellus Systems include the launch of some of the PVD products and an ALD system for tungsten deposition, Sales Account Management and core technology development. Prior to that, Chris had worked at Varian Associates and as a consultant to Intel Corporation.
He has a B.Tech. (Honors) in chemical engineering from the Coimbatore Institute of Technology in India, Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Clarkson University, NY., and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
Jon GarfieldJon Garfield joins the Neah Power Board with operational, finance and accounting experience. Mr. Garfield is currently the CEO and member of the Board of Directors of technology company Clearant, Inc. (OTCBB: CLRA). Prior experience includes CFO at Clearant, independent financial consultant for SEC reporting obligations and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, CFO for a telecom service provider, Vice President of Acquisitions for Coach USA, Inc., Corporate Assistant Controller of Maxxim Medical, Inc., and public accounting experience with Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Garfield received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from University of Texas, Austin.
Ed CabreraEd has worked on Wall Street for more than 20 years with investment banks such as Merrill Lynch, PaineWebber and Raymond James & Associates. He has held many positions including investment banker, equity analyst, market strategist and portfolio manager. Since 2003, Ed has focused on providing advisory services and capital market access for emerging growth companies. Ed worked at Merrill Lynch for 11 years as Managing Director and Head of Latin America where he built the top ranked team for the region, according to Greenwich Associates Survey and Latin Finance magazine polls. He was selected for the 2000 Millenium edition of Who's Who In Finance and has been named to the All-America team by Institutional Investor for the quality of work.
Ed has an extensive technical and educational background. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida in Engineering and Material Sciences where he graduated with honors. After undergraduate, General Electric hired Ed where he worked in the materials laboratory and in the manufacturing operation. Ed left GE in 1985 and attended Harvard Business School where he graduated with an MBA in 1987.
Paul SidloSince 1987, Mr. Sidlo has been CEO and a director at Rez-N-8 Productions, Inc., ("REZN8") a company that he founded, that designs and creates high-end graphics, multi-media branding and graphical image systems that are employed to build and promote a brand. REZN8 served as principal outside design consultant for Microsoft, responsible for graphical user interface (GUI) development and production and development for XBOX, XBOX2, XBOX LIVE, MSN9&10, HOME MEDIA CENTER, WindowsXP and Microsoft's Home of the Future. Mr. Sidlo is also Chief Creative Officer and a director of EMN8, a company that he co-founded in 2002 that is involved in the development and use of real-time rich media to better manage customer relationships in a variety of industries.
Michael SelsmanMr. Selsman is also the president and CEO of Archer Entertainment Media Communications, Incorporated (AEMC) www.archeremc.com, an internet-focused entertainment-media hub, with production and distribution activities. Archer co-presented the Miss Thailand World Pageant 2009 and co-sponsored the 1st Worldwide Comedy Film Festival, in Phuket, Thailand, this past June 8-11. Mr. Selsman has been an executive or producer at 20th Century-Fox, Paramount, MGM, Universal, and Samuel Goldwyn Productions, at Goldwyn Studios, an independent producer, a theatrical agent and public relations agent. Mr. Selsman has guest-lectured at schools and universities, including UCLA, USC, Pepperdine, Mount St. Mary's and Loyola.
